Rosie B: Dental Assistant
Rosie joined us in November 2007. She comes to us from Arizona and has over 20 years of experience in dentistry, making her an invaluable resource both to Dr. Payet and to all our patients. She can answer many of your questions, and she is so friendly, you’ll feel as if you’re known her forever. Rosie and her family, along with the family dog Hercules (the boxer), moved to North Carolina in 2006 to support 2 of her 3 sons who race in NASCAR. They have enjoyed the quality family time spent both on and off the race track. It is there you will find Rosie with her eyes closed while her sons come screaming by the start/stop finish line. She also cherishes her grandsons Maddox and Kingston.
Marie W: Dental Assistant
Marie joined the practice in July 2008. She is from the Carolinas and has lived here all of her life. Marie has been a CDA for over 11 years and has extensive continuing education certificates. Her valuable knowledge and consistent learning practices are invaluable to our patient care initiatives. On August 27th, 2009 she became the proud Mom of Bryce Adam, and while she had never thought she wanted to be a Mom, she now says she wishes she could have a football team all by herself, she loves it so much! She spends her weekends with friends & family and her dog Maddie. She enjoys riding motorcycles (she owns a Harley Davidson Softail), camping, fishing and spending time at the lake with friends. Not that she has much of it, but in her free time, you'll find Marie at the movies or reading a great book. Marie's friends will tell you that she loves to meet new people and can be a big talker once you get to know her. She even sings...but doesn't think she's very good at it (unfortunately, we have to agree with her LOL).
Samantha H. is our new (as of Summer 2010) full-time Orthodontic Dental Assistant. We are excited to have her on board to help take care of our growing family of patients with either 6MonthSmiles Cosmetic Adult Braces or Tip-Edge Comprehensive Orthodontics. With 13 years of experience in a full-time orthodontic office, she brings a lot of knowledge on how to make your braces appointments fast and smooth.
Kay K. (Patient Care Coordinator) began her dental career in Dallas, TX when she was only 14yo, as her Mother managed dental offices, and Kay started off helping after school. She "graduated" to managing her 1st office by the time she was 18yo, and she's been in love with the Wellness field her entire life since then. She transitioned for a while from dental to chiropractic, even serving on several boards within the 2 fields. For 18 years, Kay owned her own Medical Management Consulting firm, which helped open Medical, Dental, and Wellness practices and then ensure their total success. She has a strong passion for educating the public about the importance of healthy mouths and total health, often participating in Health Fairs and Public Relations to spread the word.
In her off time, Kay enjoys the NFL, camping, fishing, swimming, and playing board games with her 2 adopted children, 8yo and 11yo; in addition, she says active volunteering with the Salvation Army and Church organizations, as she enjoys helping others with challenging situations.
Katrina B. (Insurance/Financial Coordinator) is our newest team member, and one we are really excited to have found. She says she is excited about finding us to work with, too. :-) She has been in dentistry for 22 years, having started as a dental assistant. Since her Dad was in the Navy, she was actually born in Morocco, Africa (!) and grew up in cool places like Guam and Hawaii, but she considers Fort Mill her home and moved back there in 2009. She is happily married with 2 children who keep her busy, but in her spare time she enjoys reading, gardening, crafts, and singing in her church choir.
Adrianne M. (Registered Dental Hygienist) joined us early in 2010 and has been helping us keep our patients healthy and educated on taking good care of their teeth. With 11 years experience and a passion for particularly helping patients with periodontal disease, she is very excited about being part of an office that offers Laser Periodontal TherapyTM. She really enjoys going to local health fairs to educate the public on the importance of good dental health, especially in Hispanic communities, as she speaks Spanish. She has a 4yo daughter who is an incredible bundle of energy, so the rest of her free time is spent taking care of her daughter.
